Jocalyn is 18 Months Old Today!!! (1/27/14)

It is so hard to believe that our princess is 18 months old today!! She is such an amazing child and we are so proud of her. We are truly blessed to have such a precious gift from God.

 My little smoothie thief!

I finished weaning her last week. I am so grateful that I was able to nurse her for  so long and so successfully. It was definitely a bitter sweet day for me. My little princess is growing up so fast! It is truly important to enjoy every day because we will never get those days back. They grow up so fast and it may be rough some days but it is such a blessing to get to enjoy watching them grow. 

Here are some pictures of our first week with her. It is crazy to think that these were a year and a half ago.. I can remember them like yesterday.

28 Weeks (Third Trimester) - 01/23/2014

Jocalyn was so tired and being such a trooper today!

I was looking back at bump pictures from my pregnancy with Jocalyn and thought it would be fun to start including them at the same week I’m at now.

How far along?  28 Weeks - The start of my third trimester - 1/23/2014 (Pictures: 28 Weeks 2 Days 01-25-2014)

Outfit: Pink Button Up: Target?, White V-Neck: Target, Pink Tank Top: American Eagle, Skinny Jeans: American Eagle, Boots: Blowfish - Balsa

Maternity clothes?  I still mostly wear regular clothes mixed with the few pieces of maternity clothes I have and just make them work around the bump. I wear a lot of leggings and jeggings!

Stretch marks?  Nope! I am hoping to get lucky again this pregnancy!
Sleep:  We have been crazy busy so we haven’t been having much time to sleep but when I do get the chance I take it!

Best moment this week: Knowing that we are so very blessed and things can always be harder or worse. I am just counting my blessings and holding my wonderful little family close.  
Miss Anything? Sleeping on my back and tummy again.   

Movement:  She has been moving so much and so strongly. You can really feel her movements on the outside now and you can see my belly moving when she kicks now too.
Food cravings:  Caesar Salad, Orange Juice, and of course as always Kefir and almost anything lemon
Anything making you queasy or sick: Just mostly smelling dishes or trash.

Have you started to show yet:  Yes, definitely. My bump is in full force these days!

Gender:  GIRL!!! We are so happy to have another little princess on the way!
Labor Signs: A bunch of really intense Braxton Hix contractions. I am having to take it easier lately to keep them in check.

Belly Button in or out?  It is definitely out now.

Wedding rings on or off?  On. I kept them on all the way through the last time and I am hoping to do the same this time around.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Just really excited and happy about our baby girl. I won’t lie though… haha I get pretty cranky when I get over tired and hungry.

Looking forward to: April!

Jocalyn:  She is so awesome :) She is almost 18 months! I can’t even believe it!

Hubby: He is our hero. He is busy busy at work. :)

Updates:  Just working on lots of projects around the house and working on the girls room. I have a pretty cool idea for a craft project so I am going to go pick up the supplies for that this week.

27 Weeks (6 Months)- 01/16/2014

 I was looking back at bump pictures from my pregnancy with Jocalyn and thought it would be fun to start including them at the same week I’m at now. Here are the two I have from my pregnancy with her at 27 weeks.

How far along?  27 Weeks (6 Months) - 1/16/2014 (Pictures: 27 Weeks 1 Day 01-17-2014)

Outfit: Tunic: Khols, Wine Leggings: Victoria’s Secret, Black Boots: Naughty Monkey - D Ring, Belt: Target

Jocalyn:  She is understanding more about my belly each day and it is so cute! Her vocabulary is growing so much each week. I am so proud of her!

Hubby: He is busy busy again at work as usual. :) Despite that he is still such an awesome daddy and hubby.
